Luna und Res

We designed the wedding invitation of our dearest dance queen Luna Maurer. Luna and the cute hubby Res will held a marriage party in a fairy-tale castle in France, during a beatific spring weekend. We’re delighted de luxe to contribute to their happiness with a jolly swing twist invite.

GO music video preview

Go music video is the extension in motion of recently released single’s cover artwork that we designed. Driven by the hypnotic song, together with the video producer, Jose Biscaya, we created hypersonic greyhounds race trough a vibrantly odd WWW-landscape, with a hand-crafted virtual parkour in ecstatic browsers and buttons, viral internet-icons and digital dust windstorms. Go music video is the visual translation of Diplo & Oliver Twizt’s rambling remix.
The full length music video will be online very soon!

Freudenthal/Verhagen

Freudenthal/Verhagen is a Dutch photographer/ creative team, founded by Carmen Freudenthal (photographer) and Elle Verhagen (stylist).
Their collaboration with fashion designers, performers and other artists results in a wide variety of work, which is, at the same time, always recognizable by a typical humoristic approach of daily life and an undeniable own style, using and abusing contemporary imagery and (photo)graphic techniques.
Freudenthal/Verhagen’s work always stand on the cutting edge, while having a signature which stands above all trends.
This Saturday, the opening of their new exhibition, entitled Breathonics, will be held at Van Zijll Langhout. Curated by Karen Heuter.

Watch the video PARADISIS

Chamagne Valentine is an interactive creative director duo that we consider one step beyond. They makes us face that the era of the paper print is already passé and we find comfort in it’s denial. In exception of rose-in-the-deep-holes-of-slums of Rio or part-time pizza delivery/part-time-gangsters/but still a designer, it’s very unlikely that we post a creative agency’s work in the blog. However, we find similarities in the way they and us operate. Innovation&fun with a constant flow… and people sometimes pay for it.

“Champagne Valentine. Interactive, creative, cross-platform brand bubblebath. We creatively direct brands into romantic digital spaces. Not always safe, but always warm. Apps, websites, installations, films, lazer beams. The stuff nobody saw coming. Technology can stir emotions. Feel ones and zeros.” (Taken from Champagne Valentine Website)

Meet Robin

Robin will be making his 3 months internship at Pinar&Viola studio.
See the work he did for his Window Window project, a fictional festival for arts in The Hague. The festival includes 8 artists which show works representing their hometown and the town they live in right now, The Hague.
This works create a link between the two cities, in their own prospect or on a bigger scale.

A peek in the Liemburg castle

Last week, our close friend Harmen Liemburg had us for dinner in his home studio. It was really special to see his captivating universe. And check out Harmen the fancy teenager and his blowing 80s hairdo.
